WE SPEAK Faculty & Staff Survey 2020

January 28 - February 14, 2020

Your voice matters! This is your opportunity to have your say!

Things to Know:

• It only takes about 20 minutes to complete the survey; you can save and return later, if need be.
• It can be completed on a PC, your mobile or tablet.
• You will receive an email to your Western email account, from Metrics@Work containing a link to the survey and a unique password. If you have problems with your email account, please contact Western Technology Services at 519 661-3800.
• The survey is confidential and optional.
• Complete the survey by February 4th, and you could win a prize!
• For your convenience, computers labs will be made available to you. See your Supervisor for further information.

WE ACT Initiatives:
Here are a few of the Hospitality Services WE ACT initiatives implemented since the previous surveys:

• Digital communication boards
• Staff Appreciation Weeks
• Wellness initiatives - including learning sessions & Wellness Fairs
• More staff & family events - movies, skating, family BBQ, sports events
• Culinary workshops - gingerbread houses, pie baking, turkey dinner

Some of the Western-wide WE ACT initiatives include:

• Global Corporate Challenge - step challenge; attracted over 1,100 Western employees and 159 teams, 10 of which were from Hospitality Services
• Expansion of the "Living Well @ Western" program
• Professional development workshops advanced funded for employees eligible for Educational Assistance Funding
• Launch of "Inside Western" twice weekly internal e-newsletter
