Another one of our Hospitality Service Chefs, Ryan Stephens (Unit Chef @ Saugeen-Maitland), had an amazing professional development opportunity earlier in October.
Chef Ryan attended a Mexican Culinary Workshop in Monterrey, Mexico, from October 15th - 17th. This workshop is just one of the many professional development opportunities offered by NACUFS (National Association of College & University Food Services), to its members.
Ryan and the other participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Mexican culture and cuisine for three action-packed days. They also made the Tecnologico de Monterrey school paper!
We're expecting some pretty amazing Mexican dishes to be served at Saugeen in the near future!
